Details

An invitation to take part in our next Task & Finish (T&F) Scrutiny project. We are looking for inquisitive volunteers to examine Fairhive’s work in detail to produce recommendations for improvement.

The group’s most recent project completed in March 2024, Fairhive’s Handling of Complaints, produced five recommendations and was presented to Board. Fairhive accepted and is working towards four of these recommendations to improve how we handle complaints.

The area of the business to scrutinise for the next project has not yet been decided. The enquiry project should be identified by the group at the first meeting to be held 22nd May.

Working on a T&F Scrutiny project involves a high level of commitment for the duration of the project and volunteers are expected to attend all meetings, where possible, during the review. Therefore, we have booked dates for 6 meetings to take place and to facilitate planning – please note that these may be subject to change:

Meeting 1: Wednesday 22nd May 2024, 1.30pm-3.30pm - Boardroom

Meeting 2: Tuesday 4th June 2024, 1pm-3pm – Boardroom

Meeting 3: Thursday 13th June 2024, 10am-12noon – Milton

Meeting 4: Wednesday 19th June 2024, 1.30pm-3.30pm – Boardroom

Meeting 5: Thursday 27th June 2024, 10am-12noon – Milton

Meeting 6: Thursday 4th July 2024, 10am-12noon – Milton

All meetings have the option to join online if preferred.

We aim to have between six and eight volunteers working on the project and will offer Scrutiny training to support your volunteering role.

Volunteers will be reimbursed for expenses as per our Resident Expenses and Incentives Policy.

If you wish to form part of this T&F Review, please confirm your attendance to the first meeting and if you require a taxi or wish to join online by replying to hello@fairhive.co.uk by Friday 10th May.
